Working Man's Pocket Watch

All right guys. I'm looking for a reasonable priced waterproof working man's pocket watch. I've looked at the Swiss watches and I'll be saving for awhile to buy one but, in the mean time I would love to find one for the day to day grind. I work outside as a bonafied 100% count to 3 and turn around and spit into the wind and duck.. CABLE DUDE. That is correct!!!! I said CABLE DUDE !!! Atleast that's what we were before that stupid movie (that I won't mention the title of) came out. I'm near power lines and then I'm crawling through the remains of your dead rotting cat under your house. In the rain and the snow and -40 below (& then some). I live near the Canadian border. Any who's ... I would love some advice so I'm not losing what eye sight I have left to the world wide web. Thanks guys so very much for any and all advice you may have!!

I don't know if it matters to you, but both of those are quartz. I like the Wenger one, but I would rather it be manual wind.

Anyway, I would suggest you hit eBay and have a look at the Westclox models "Scotty," "Big Ben," or "Bulls Eye" watches. They are vintage watches and I believe they were the workingman's watch of the time.

I have a Scotty I wore for a while. I like the watch, but the plastic lens did crack. I don't remember how I cracked it. I have often thought of replacing the lens, or really at the prices they get I could easily replace the whole watch. They go cheap.

EDIT: As far as I know the company is called "Westclox," but more watches come up if you search "Westclock."

Don't get the westclock models unless they are really old from the 1950s or earlier. The newer ones are junk. You need a waterproof one and I would get quartz. With the work you do it has to be waterproof and a mechanical would be beat up very soon.
