Wonderful Boar Travel Brush - More Insanity Omega 80257

I'm on the road and have been using this little brush with incredible success.

It lathers up a whollup! I used it this morning with a QED spearmint tangerine stick (quite a bit more spearmint and nary a whiff of tangerine) and it had gobs of lather by the end of the third pass. The knot does have that tell tale hollowed out effect when wet, but its an incredible brush for the money. Not scritchy at all! Shortish loft, not a ton of back bone though (which I miss, but you can't have everything for $12.) Mine is in yellow, but that off green color looks awfully nice too. Just thought I would be devilish and let you guys know about this one.

I really thought about getting one of those. I still might have to. I just can't justify it when the only traveling I do is too and from home/school. Granted they are 600 miles apart so taking the full kit is kind of a pain, but still...

How long does it take to dry out?

Do you wait for it to dry, or just pack it and go?

If its not dry by departure time, no big deal. When you get to where you're going, just unpack it and let it air out.

That's a beauty too, I like the jade green and the periwinkle blue handles.

I have it's cousin - the 10051. Nice little chub! And the plastic handle makes me not worry about dropping it when on the road.

I've got that one coming from Shoebox soon. How are you liking it?

Can't wait to try it. I've also got the turn back travel brush and the 40033 wide waist midget, 23mm knot and 48mm loft. Yahhhhh.

I was having hard time deciding between the 40033 and the 10051. But I ultimately went with the 10051 because of the slightly larger handle - so a little more room to grip. I'd think 40033 and the 10051 are similar in performance. My 10051 is scritchy and stiff. But the tips, once broken-in, are soft. I use it mostly to lather my head.

I think you will like that one. Mine put me on the track for short lofted boars at home since I think overall build quality of the 50014 comes a little short for everyday use.
