I was thinking it would look nice with an AP SynBad knot.

I agree. I love the look of those knots. I use a tuxedo from AP alot and I love it as well. The only thing is that the smallest SynBad is 24 and it'll be a stretch getting that knot in there. It's possible but a 22 sits nicer.
