With all the talk of Feather, Personna, etc... There's never any props for Kai. I keep coming back to these after shaving with many alternatives. I think they are smoother and sharper than anything else I've tried. Of course, YMMV but anyone else share the love for this DE blade? Is it the cost?

They are manufactured in Japan.
I use Kais any chance I can get them. Im trying to source a new bunch in Japan
Definitely price. I've only used them once, but they are far better than Feathers.
Nice blade, too expensive.
When I used DEs, I long felt Kais were the best blade, that is until I discovered the Astras. I rotated between the two during my last weeks of DE shaving.

They're not as popular as other blades but Kai blades have certainly been discussed on B&B.
My milleage does vary indeed - I found these the worst and most uncomfortable blades ever!

I got lucky and got a couple packs from a B&Ber. I think that they are as sharp as Feather but smoother. I want to get more.

You're not alone at all. Kai's are my favorite blade...I find them to be just as sharp as a feather, and as you described, smooth. I enjoy feathers, but I get twice the amount of shaves from a Kai and they are much more comfortable. As far as price, they may cost a little more averaging about 60 cents a blade, but this doesn't bother me. I suppose if I wanted to save some money, I could stop buying MWF and Cella and use a less expensive soap...HA, like that's gonna happen.
