i know there are a lot of company's making "old spice" scent shave soaps and wanted to know witch one is the best, or the closest to the original, i want to put some in my old spice shave mug, but wasn't sure witch one.
who make the best "old spice" shaving soap

Awesome use of "witch" on Halloween.
I've heard nothing but praise for Mama Bears and Honeybee Spa and most think they are both spot on. Krissy should also have a Old Spice scent soon too and it will be tallow.

i was thinking about mamas, and the honeybee, but i don't see that scent any more at honeybees
Mama Bear's Aged Spice is a superb soap and an authentic scent. Can' comment on any others!
Vintage Shulton is closest to the original...
I think at this point the I'd have to say Mama Bear has the market cornered. The Aged Spice has some ardent fans here.
One of the hallmarks of the old Shulton soap was Sodiom Tallowate, so when Krissy starts in with a tallow based version, that will be well worth checking out!
I have tried neither Mama Bear nor Honeybee but both seem to have great reputation.
I have only used Artifact Soap Works Old Spice Soap and it SMELLS spot on the money but lathers like hand soap so I made my own concoction I call Van der Spice which is melted Van der Hagen with Old Spice cologne poured in while melted and a bit of the Artifact Soap shaved into the mix before it solidifies
It works and smells great! When I am out of Artifact I will try some Van der Spice sans Artifact and see how that works. I believe someone on here has already tried that recipe.

Honeybee Old Spice for me.
go for the original old spice. theres always a dozen or so pucks on ebay, and some go for crazy prices, but some (for no paticular reason) for super cheap - just camp out there and youll pick one up easily.
Another post for Mama Bears Aged Spice.
I will wait for Krissy at Prairie Creations to perfect hers. She has done it before and her soap is tallow based. This means it will give a creamer lather than any melt and pour soap that I have tried. I know it will be worth the wait. Besides, I don't want any of my other soaps to dry up or end up with so many in my search that I have to listen to "why do you need so many soaps"? When she perfects it (and she will) I will buy one soap and everyone here will be happy and live in peace (LOL).
