I've seen posts where people have stated that Omega makes a brush that is a billed as a boar but is a mix of boar and badger. Just wondering what the model number is? Some pics would be great too.

I stand to be corrected, but I recollect that a review of an Omega boar on TSD referred to a model which appeared to be a mix of Boar and Badger. I believe these references are to the high end models which have the badger-imitation pure bristle brushes. I have 3 of those high end and are clearly marked Pura Setola (Pure Bristle) which means pure boar !!!
They come out of the box very soft, don't smell like a wet dog and break-in in a couple of weeks to be super soft.

I've seen them while wandering on the net. Can't recall if they were Omega or not.

Looked in another thread and the 21047 might be it.
wow that is one great review. I'm REALLY intrigued now.
I just bought a 21047 a few days ago based on that review. Would be nice to try a mix, but I won't know if it's true until I get it. If not, at least it was only 19.99. I've wasted money on dumber things.

Nice price, I have an Omega boar, even if it isn't as great as rumored I don't think it will be all that bad. Let me know how it works out and I just might order one. BTW where did you order from?
Do my best to remember, but I might get distracted. Going on a trip here in just a few days. Probably won't get to use it this week. Who knows though, sometimes I get lucky and the mail gets here in a timely fashion.
