Where to get supplies in Souther Ontario, Canada

Hi,

I'm new to the game and I understand there are quite a few online stores to get Straight razor supplies (fendrihan, etc) in Canada. However, I was wondering if there is a less expensive way to start of the system.

I'm particularly looking for strops, hones and a good razor...hopefully for around 150 CAD. Is this a reasonable range or am I dreaming? It would be awesome to know where to get these things, I'm in the waterloo area.

I would suggest checking out the BST here, there are some straights available now for a good price.

It is amazing how quickly things can get to Canada from the US or overseas. The world has shrunk. Mostly Canada customs does not bother with taxing small purchases. Rup Razor is selling a nice starter set of a Gold Dollar razor and a strop for $60 US. Hones are not cheap. You might want to start with micro abrasive papers. A good Canadian source for hones and micro abrasive sheets is Lee Valley. They have stores in London and Burlington and online at leevalley.com.

I'll confirm it. I just passed by a store with paper covering all the windows and all the lights out. The store used to be Tobacco Haven in the Atrium.
