I just ordered 2 nibs from goldennib and I am looking for handles to put them in. Anyone have a website to order empty handles for shaving brushes? All I can find are blanks, but I don't have access or know-how for a lathe.
I was just going to ask the same question
I'ld like to give my dad a brush as a gift for his birthday, as he keeps using my restored brush with a golden nib knot. Now as he is a carpenter, I'ld really like a wooden handle that is decently made, and glue a knot in myself.
Go Here http://www.handicraft-vn.com/shop/. Apparently this guy makes handles for a couple of the big manufacturers. Decent prices too! If you are looking for wood handles check out penworks.
Thanks wakeboarder. Those horn handles are beautiful, but I was hoping to go on the cheap for a little while. I am being moved to Korea for a year (military) and don't want to run the risk of anything happening to a nice handle I paid good money for while I'm there. I'll most certainly be investing in one of the horn handles when I get back, though. I looked at the penworks site but I don't see where he sells just the handles, only already made brushes.
