Where do you get Bay Rum after shaves?

So, I've heard a lot of good things about Bay Rum after shaves and it has me curious. Where can I find a bottle?? I've looked in drug stores and places like Target and Walmart but haven't seen any. I don't want to buy a whole bottle off of the internet without smelling it, though. Any suggestions? Anywhere I can get a sample portion??

And while we're on the topic, do you have a favorite Bay Rum?:bayrum2:

Sally Beauty Supply sometimes carries Master's. Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum has fallen out of grace at my local stores.

Ogallala is my favorite.

It's not a Brick and Mortar type of aftershave anymore. Like Tony said, Sally's is the only wide-spread place that carries it and Masters is really hit or miss with people. If you have a specialty shaving shop or barber supply store nearby, those would be worth a shot. Gary's Sample Shop carries Captains Choice BR and Pinaud VIBR. I think it's a $1.50 or $2.50 for 1/4 oz sample.

Barclay Crocker has a massive selection of Bay Rums and several types of samplers. For instance they have a 48 vial BR aftershave sampler. They also have this great looking sampler in this box:

Many other online vendors have samplers as well, such as Ogallala Bay Rum and I'm sure Garry of Garry's Sample Shop has a few.

Wow, I thought the Ogallala sampler pack was cool but the one above takes the cake for sure....sorry just stepped away to put it on my Christmas list.....where was I? Oh yeah, I'll +1 the various Ogallala Bay Rums that you can get in a handy sampler pack from most online shaving supply places. I'm using them all but my go-to is the Lime & Peppercorn. I've already bought a large 8 oz. bottle that will hopefully last many many years.

Dominca and Ogallala are nicely balanced, whereas Pinaud VIBR is very heavy clove along with Layrite. SWMBO hates heavy clove, she likes the first two

I have sampled and/or smelled several Bay Rums and I have to admit that generally I don't like them. They smelled like kerosene to me. That being said, I do really like the Master Bay Rum as it is a little different; i.e., not as strong as others. In fact I like all of the Master line of A/S I have tried thus far. Very good stuff.

Just got the Ogallala sampler myself. SWMBO and daughter both really like the regular Bay Rum. Funny to me that it's made in my own state, but I had to go to West Coast Shaving to get it; can't believe there isn't a local joint that carries it.
