When to sanitize your razor.

I sanitize a razor that is new to the den, whether it is used or new. Razors that I shave with get rinsed, the blade removed, and then I dry the razor. Also depending on the razor architecture (grooves and slots), I may use a soft toothbrush and dish soap. Some shave creams also will require a little dish soap to get the razor clean. On the weekends I spend about an hour with my collection to polish as needed including pointed Q-tips to get into the small spaces. On the weekend when I am polishing I have BST up and hope that there are no new posts for sale that interest me.

After each shave I wash my razor with a mild soap and a soft toothbrush, dry it and store it. I am the only user of my razors. Any reason to periodically or occasionally sanitize the razors with barbicide?

I rinse mine from time to time in Barbacide
