When did UPS stop offering estimated arrival dates?

I went to track a package today and all sorts of data is available for the package. Pretty much anything one would ever want to know except an estimated delivery date.

I could have sworn UPS used to offer an estimated arrival date, but appears as though they no longer do :frown:.

It must be a very recent change; within the last month or so they gave me estimated delivery dates for several packages.

Got a package today and tracked it right up to the front door.
I've noticed if its just gotten into the system, an ETA won't show up, check it again later on. Let us know.

UPS has a newer service they call basic which is ground but things kind of go space available so sometimes the shipping can take a few days longer. Its for business use only and is less expensive. With this service there are no delivery dates.

+1. If its new in the system and hasn't started moving yet, it wont show an estimated delivery date. It may take a day, or once it leaves the area for that to come up.
