Hi All!

Curious to see what your preference is. Let us know.

Also, beginnning to wonder if there are any more Gillette Open Combs worth trying (TTO perhaps?) after using an Old Type, Tuckaway, Short Comb New, Long Comb New, and a couple Brit Gillette Open Combs.

At this point, I'm favoring the New Improved head design in my Tuckaway. Just seems to be a good everyday shaver. Brit New is great, but more aggressive, so reserved for those rare days where I've gone more than 24 hours without shaving.

It didn't take long for me to realize I liked open combs more than the bars, so I tried A LOT of them.

I've been using a 1922 New Standard for the past few years.

I'm still coming around to open combs and I voted short comb NEW although, at this stage, they are all about the same for me.

I also have LC NEW, Old Type and Tuckaway.

The NEWs and the Tuckaway are my favorite lookers :)

I've got a LC New which I twin with a Weber bulldog handle and a #15 Aristocrat. It's a very close call, but the #15 just edged it for me.

By itself, my Tuckaway. But once I took my Bostonian's head and stuck it on a ball-end Tech's handle.... Wham! As close to perfect as I've gotten so far.

I voted Goodwill because I do like the different designs and pins they used in the head. They're also awesome shavers.

My next favorite is an Old Type. After 1920, except for the Goodwills, open-comb Gillettes just don't like my face too much.
