Just had a Red Chair NWPA from Deschutes Brewing CO. If you can find it, definitely get your hands on it. It's a seasonal from Jan-May. NWPA = Northwest Pale Ale. Just a little FYI.
Too many good beers to have but 1 fav. Tonight it is this years "Old Guardian" Barley Wine Style Ale from Stone. Never fails and at 11.00% ABV will sneak up on ya real quick!
favorite..hmmmm.... whatever I'm brewing this month. (avid homebrewer the last two years). But if I had to choose from commercial brews I would have to say from a beer purist standpoint I am always a big fan of all of Sam Adams Brews. True to form and pure quality. They don't try to get too cute like many commercial craft breweries are doing these days. ( I want to drink beer, not ground up pine needles with elderberries!!). The latest Sam Adams is a good representation of a German "Helles" style of beer "Alpine Spring" is the name. Goose Island brews are next in line.. Honkers Ale is always always always a favorite. Good English Bitter although a little hoppy.
