Heading out to cut down a Christmas tree with the wife and kids so this morning was a quick-n-dirty scrambled eggs with scallions, hard salami, smoky Gouda, and a sprinkle of parsley on top.
Three egg smoked ham and sharp cheddar omelette with Sriracha. Heading for a Greek yogurt bowl with granola, dried apricots, honeycomb, blueberries, nuts.
Found some pumpkin seeds and mango to toss in as well.
Most mornings I have a bowl of Quaker Oats topped with a generous dose of Tabasco chipotle sauce and a spoonful of Moroccan olive oil. Surprisingly tasty, and maybe even good for me.

This morning, a bowl of Mrs. Hippie's homemade granola on top of a baked apple, slathered in homemade yogurt. Large cup of coffee. Gave me the strength to stand up and get a lovely slant shave for the Winter Solstice.
This morning we had what has become something of a Christmas morning tradition - a gluten-free (oldest daughter has serious issues with wheat) 'casserole' of baked bread with apples and lots of cinnamon and other wintertime spices. Kinda comes out like a bread pudding but not quite.
Our traditional holiday breakfast, Icehouse Eggs — today's variation used coppa, gruyere, smoked cheddar, toasted croutons, and heavy cream, baked with a poached egg nested in the middle.
Earlier this week I made an iron skillet dish with veggies, potato sticks and pork sausage that I topped with eggs and grated rosemary Asiago cheese. I covered it briefly with a teaspoon of water around the edge and they were "good to go", though I may have overdone it a bit with the butter -
This morning was an onion, peppers, and mushroom omelet with grated Gruyere. Of course, the bacon and homemade herb and parmesan toast were the icing on this breakfast 'cake'.
