What's for dinner? February/March 2010

Gent's, im eating out tonight, i think i'll be having a vegan meatball sub at a little spot in the Alberta district of Portland Oregon called the "Bye & Bye". It's utterly phenomenal!

So let's have it!

What's for dinner?!

We stayed in and had a simple spinch and bleu cheese frittata with toast. Making frittata makes you feel like a gourmet cook, but is as easy as scrambled eggs!

The wife and I went to ruth's chris. Me: lobster bisque, potatoes lyonnaise, fillet, vodka tonic and a glass of malbec. Wifey: tomato mozzarella salad, fillet, mushrooms, vodka tonic. Delicious!

Grilled porterhouse steak, sweet potatoes and spinach. Accompanied by a 1986 Kenwood Jack London Vineyards Cab. Last of my double magnums of this. Will be hitting it hard with the Private Preserve to drink it over the next week.

Continuing with funky fish theme, I made Bacalao con Tomate. Salt cod stewed in tomatoes. It was better than expected and I had high expectations.

Great pizza and beer restaurant here in Canberra called Debacle.

Incredible pizzas and over 100 international beers. Can't beat that with a stick!
