Unacceptably Lasering Chicken Giblets?
Amen!!

I was quarantined for 2 weeks and my family brought me a steak for lunch on Father’s Day.
On Monday they got to come home.
Now that was a Father’s Day.
This was my Father’s Day meal.

Trying to clear the freezer a bit now, so breaded cod loins (Sainsbury's!), beer battered onion rings, real chips done in the air fryer, peas and creamed spinach - zap the blocks of spinach for about 1.30 mins, drain any excess water, season and stir in creme fraiche. Looks and tastes posh nosh but a real cheat!

The wife made stuffed flat bread. Spinach and feta, curry beef.

link to recipe if any is interested.

awe man sorry for the fuzzy picture. I was hungry and in a hurry to eat.

This little stainless hibachi was marked down $10. We cook a lot of Asian food and I wanted a hibachi for short ribs and skewered things. $20 was a decent price so it came home with us.

The wife mad some teriyaki sauce for the chicken. I marinated the skirt steak in thick soy sauce. She made some Japchae with spinach as a side.

That looks worth a try mate. I was never keen on dahl when I lived in UK, but then had it a few times here in pukka Indian restaurants so decided to try it at home. Usually use red or yellow lentils and just fry off chopped shallot and garlic, then dry spices i.e., chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, cinnamon - whatever you like really. If I have any curry leaves I would add those now, then the rinsed lentils and water. Chicken stock but water or veg stock if meatless and salt and black pepper to taste. Cook until slightly mushy.

Bacon fried rice. Just like my in-laws taught me. Fry bacon, scramble eggs, green onion and set aside. Add rice to pan with bacon and stir , cook till you get some crispy bits.Add some onion. Make space in middle of pan for eggs. Partially cook then stir and coat rice until dry. add soy sauce to taste. Stir some more. Added some leftover meat, and what not. This time was spicy Korean garlic shoots and leftover beef from last night.
