Fish (grilled barramundi) tacos and blistered shishito peppers.
Yep. Pretty tasty, a lot like beef, a bit like wild duck.
I admit I had to look it up to see if it was "a thing," and lo and behold - you learn something new every day.

Last night was Tex-Mex Taco Thursday.
I had oatmeal
I got the night off from cooking. Wife picked me up a veggie curry and brown rice from a vegetarian place we like. Nice to have takeout on Friday.
Oxtail soup, cheddar cheese quiche, kefir & nuts.
Tenderloin steak, sous vide then finished on the grill. Mushroom sautéed with brandy. Grilled asparagus.
I whipped up a batch of fresh pasta and added turmeric and black pepper to the dough. The accoutrements were olive oil, garlic, crushed red pepper, asparagus, green onions, lemon zest and juice, and lacinato kale (from the garden).
Still on the weigh loss path. So tonight I made a lettuce wrap with. Tofu cutlet, sweet potato fries(baked) carrots, bean threads, onion and peanut sauce. I’m craving an open faced turkey sandwich smothered in gravy, or fried chicken..... I’ll stay the course and celebrate later though. Not a boring dinner but basically a hand held salad.

Wife and daughter just left for holidays. I guess that means what ever shop is open.
I’ve been a huge fan of beaver since high school.
I wouldn’t go that far.
Let me know when you get a hankering for some and for what kind and I’ll have a few dozen shipped to you.
