What's new

What TV series you watching?

Started Drive to Survive - Season "Current". I know it's over dramatized, but still a fun way to start the coming F1 season.
Also greatly looking forward to The Mandolorian starting on Wednesday. I may not get a chance to see it until the weekend, but just knowing it's coming is enough for me.

Have gun will travel,
Reads the card of a man,
A knight without armor,
In a savage land,
His fast gun hire,
Heeds the calling wind,
A soldier of fortune,
Is a man called Paladin.

Paladin, Paladin,
Where do you roam?
Paladin, Paladin,
Far, far from home

He travels on,
To where ever he must,
A chess knight of silver,
Is his badge of trust,
There are campfire legends,
That the plainsmen sing,
Of the man with the gun,
Of the man called Paladin
Always makes me think of the film "Stand By Me". Must be sung when walking along train tracks. That is all.

Indeed. I also enjoyed Underbelly - the season that dealt with John Ibrahim - but TLKOTC is much more polished. Tim Roth is great as Ezra. Thanks for the heads up on the series earlier in the thread.
It is more polished. I enjoyed a few of the underbelly seasons, but they did suffer a bit from the Australian TV soap opera acting and direction. This series is better.

If you haven’t already, track down a show called Mr Inbetween. Excellent.

Vikings

It's beards and blades in close proximity,
but never touching.
So much stuff out there loosely based on Ragnar Lothbrok.
I remember this one from 1958

My grandfather took me to see that in a theater in the 1960's.
The one and only scene I remember, is the wolf pit,
where they grant the last request of a sword.

Maybe that was the best scene, maybe not,
but after 60 years, that's the only scene I remembered.
The look of terror on the kings face when Tony Curtis gives Ernest Borgnine a sword, and it turning to relief as Ernie jumps into the wolf pit is great!
