What Schick Belonged In This Case?

Does anyone know what razor this Schick black leather case would've been for originally? It's 4"x6"x1/2" in size and has "SCHICK" on one side only. Pictured with an EJ DE89. It was my grandfather's so I would date it to the 1960's (??) possibly. I don't know anything else about it.... whether it was for a DE safety razor or something else. It has no dividers or straps on the inside to secure the contents. I might be interested in finding the original razor for it somewhere.... otherwise I'll just use it to store razors and supplies.

I am thinking it was meant to be a Dopp kit, or it originally contained an electric razor. Doesn't look like anything an Injector would have come in.

I was wondering about it possibly being for an electric razor because of it's size. I know almost nothing about the history of Schick products.
