What is your Favorite mug/bowl/scuttle?

My favorite mug (my avatar) is for soaking my brush. It’s my favorite because it was my Grandfather’s mug and is now over 100 years old.

I face lather and have been very happy with the Dirty Bird brush scuttle.

I really like my Q shave scuttle. Nothing like warm lather.

I don't use this one as a mug (lathering on the puck while in this), I use an Old Spice, or a Williams Centennial pewter for that. But I love this thing. I think it's supposed to be a soup bowl, not sure, but it seems too darn big for a coffee mug. We saw it in some touristy shop while on a short trip, can't remember where, and SWMBO (always on the ball) said, "Hey, this would be good for you to use as a shaving bowl!"

I guess having ridges or gluing coins in the bottom of mugs may help build lather quicker, but I've never had trouble with this. And I tend to load, smooth out the load in the bowl for like 10 seconds, then face lather, and just use this for the brush repository and a quick whipper upper between passes. The Schick Type E in the second shot shows why I think this was supposed to be a soup bowl. It's pretty big.
