I'm looking for a kit to store my 3 piece razor and a pack of blades (and whatever else will fit) when I travel. On Amazon when I've searched for "razor travel kit", "toiletry kit" and I keep coming across either dopp kits or nail clipper kits etc.

Try an empty Altoids or tobacco tin - I pack one with a cut up cloth, and its just the right size for the razor and blades. Like this:

Maybe you should just buy that one? You can always remove the stuff already in it, some of which may be good to have anyway.

I don't think a nail-clipper case would fit a razor and blade-pack, but I might be wrong.

There are lots of DIY options. The Altoid case is a popular choice. And depending on the razor, you might be able to find a vintage case that will fit, although most of these are pretty beat up.

If you don't need elegance, take a sock and dump your gear in there.

If you haven't done so already, check the TSA regs on traveling with razors.

And the #1 rule about traveling ... don't take along anything you can't afford to lose. This includes razors and brushes, of course, but also applies to your camera, iPad, laptop, and any other devices you can't live without.
