Lavender has been a traditional men's scent for at least a 150 years, and women's too.
My top two favorites so far are:
1. Barrister and Mann Reserve Lavender
2. Shannon's Soaps Lavanilla
The BM is deep, really deep.
After having both for a while now. I'm torn between the B&M and Hags.
The Hags is a bright crisp lavender scent. While I would describe B&M as a dark lavender, but in a really good way.

Yeah dark and deep. It has a lot going on under the surface.
It's a beautiful scent, definitely one I'd use more in the autumn/winter time with it being so dark. I get lots of nice comments from people when I use it.
SOTM for September | I sense great things, this paired with Speick or B&M Lavender splashesI have since taken on a tub of Grooming Department's Lavender in Kairos SE Base
This may have jumped the line for July's SOTM
Scent Notes: A blend of 97% Organic Buena Vista Lavender & French High Elevation Lavender & French Maillette Lavender + 3% Violet Absolute, Cedarwood Absolute, Labdanum Absolute, Geranium Absolute, and Jasmine Sambac Absolute.
Can you tell us how the scent on this compered to B&M please.SOTM for September | I sense great things, this paired with Speick or B&M Lavender splashes

I Can See Better Than Bigfoot.
I find B&M Lavender and GD Lavender to be very, very similar. B&M might be slightly ‘sweeter’ at the top end; both are crazy good.
GD Lavender Kairos SE 2023 to me nothing else is as good.
Why don't they make a Proraso Lavender?

This is by far my favorite Lavender - it is a pure lavender and the extract comes directly from the grower in France.
I also think the base is the top performer I have ever used when it comes to cushion, glide and post shave in one.
Mike's Hungarian Lavender for me.
At post 9 in this thread, I mentioned GD English Lavender - but I have to say that the GD Lavender Kairos SE 2023, for me has now over taken my original choice. Both soaps have a fantastic base, but the SE 2023, just shades it marginally for me.

I guess that by now you all have heard the sad news that Barrister and Mann is stopping manufacture of the wonderful Lavender shaving soap.

With it consistently ranking as one of the top lavender scented soaps, I wonder how they consider it not a good seller?
