What I really want is a Regent Tech....case!

This just sold on da Bay for over $200!! I would love to get my hands on a Regent Tech mostly for the unique case! I have a thing for unusual vintage Gillette cased razors. The razor itself is nothing more than an early '40's Aristocrat, but in this case it becomes a Regent Tech. I would pay $30 or $40 for the razor alone, but that would mean $170+ for the case!! My RCAD (Razor Case Addiction Disorder) is not that bad yet!!

Gee wiz, yea that's a lot for the case, but how often do you see them come around? Nice looking unusual set

It sold higher than I would have guessed.

I have a Regent Tech set - in rough shape, but I really like it!

And the razor is a great shaver, too - I like it much better than the later Aristocrats.




Damn, just when I think prices are getting more reasonable [read: I can afford something again] and RAD is tamed a unique razor/set shows up... and the ADs start churning again!
