what I found yesterday in Antique store - Brush

This is the brush that I found yesterday in Seattle Antique mall. I paid $12 for this. On bottom it says company name as Century and Pure Badger. Looks to be in good condition. Anyone knows how old could it be?

Also help me with tips on how I can clean and sterilize it for use?

One part white vinegar, two parts warm water. Let it soak for about 20 minutes. Rinse well with warm water. Then, give it a good shampoo with whatever shampoo you use, rinse in warm water and let it dry. Your good to go. Agree with the above, would not want to drop that on my big toe.

Very cool brush. Looks to be in usable condition. Clean it as explained earlier and give it a trip to the face and see how it works for you.

Where to get it reknotted?
There are vendors that do this sort of thing. Rudy Vey comes immediately to mind, he's in our vendor section. He's a skilled craftsman and a true gentleman.
It's easy enough to do this yourself, though. There are wikis and tutorials in our brush restore section. I've done about a dozen now, and trust me, if I can do this anyone can.
It can be addictive. You can get style and grace, actually functional art from another era and couple that with a modern knot that rivals anything from the big brush makers. All for very little coin.
