Brush & Mug Collection

I recently moved so I had to leave my old mug and brush display area behind. A new display shelving unit was created by the cabinet maker at our freshly remodeled new home. There was not much space available, but some wall space was found for an in wall unit near the shower. It is tall enough that I could not capture it all in one picture so the first picture is the lower part with the brushes, and the second picture is the upper part with the mugs. There is some overlap. Other than the bottom row where most of the largest brushes are stored, the brushes are two deep. There are about 60 brushes on display. There was overflow on the mugs, so there are several more in a drawer near the bathroom sink.

First off , nice display.. Honestly I probably would have put the breakable bowls on the bottom but that's just me.. Oh and just so you know , some here would probably say " nice starter kit " !!

@Big Jim , really nice display and collection. Do you rotate through all the brushes over time or just a few with the rest considered collectables?

The brushes are on the bottom because that is how I was able to arrange the shelves so the tallest brushes had room.

There would be many more if I would have kept all I have made and given away. I have handles and knots to make about 15 to 20 more.

I use them all, although some have not been used in the last couple of years and others are used often.
