Hey all!! I was looking to expand upon my soap use. However, I don't have a solution as to what I would use to hold the soap. I had a Col Conk Shaving Mug, but the puck didn't fit in the top correctly without some modifications. Ironically, I was also using a Col Conk soap, so I would have thought the fitment would have been right on. Thank you all in advance for your feedback!
What do you guys use to hold your puck of soap?

My old Wilkinson Sword soap disk works wonderfully. When I finish my TOBS rose cream, I'll be able to have 2 pucks in rotation! 
Col.Conk melts easily in the microwave (multiple 5-10 sec bursts with stirring in between) and can pour into any container.

Wow! I didn't think of melting it. Good call. Ha! I am still on my first coffee too.
This works fine on soaps that are not tallow based.
There are other threads that talk about this, but essentially I think they can catch fire.
I have bought some of these from Ikea and they work well.

I like the old Old Spice mugs, myself. I've also got a couple of small ramikans (sp?) that I stole from the kitchen to hold a couple of my current soaps. You can use pretty much any bowl-like container.

I melt a puck of VDH Deluxe and pour it into my Grandfather's 1949 Old Spice mug. I have been using his mug since his passing in 1971. Just my way of saying 'hi' to him daily.

That's really awesome! I wish I had something sentimental like that.
Pyrex 1 cup size bowls with lid. About $6 for 4 I beleive. I have about 4 soaps I keep in them. Recently with a puck of cade I bought, I ran a knife around it to make it fit, put the shavings in the bowl and then put the puck on top. Works well and seals. Looks good on the counter.

Great suggestion! Do you find it slippery when trying to lather them or are they just stored in there?
I grate everything into stick's I got from MB's.
I use plastic storage containers that I grate the pucks into, except for the VDH which I cut into pieces and melted in the microwave then poured it into the container.

NICE! I have some of these! Perfect! I appreciate that!

My preferred container is the original branded bowl that matches the soap ... if I don't have one, I keep it in a soap dish that would go traveling in a Dopp Kit. Its not unusual for me to keep 3 or 4 different types of soaps in one dish, I just cut a chunk down to size, and wipe it dry before I put it back in the dish.
The Ziploc containers work well.
I also like the containers that Mama Bear sells. They're inexpensive and they take up a LOT less room than the Ziploc containers.
