A British Shave

8/10

Pre Shave: hot towel

Soap: Stirling Bergamot Lavender (GB)

Brush: Edwin Jagger Faux Horn Synthetic Silvertip XL EJ282 25 mm Knot (GB) - this is a very good synthetic brush, very soft and comfortable. But I don't use it so often, because I have some real hair brushes to break in.
As most of the synthetic brushes if not too big, which is the case, they are good for travelling as they dry quicker.
I built the lather on my face with ease.

Safety Razor: Edwin Jagger DE 89 (GB)
- this is a very mild razor, almost impossible to nick oneself with it.
It's an entry razor to the sport. I rarely use it - out of my normal rotation - and when I get it It's for a one day shave occasion. Nevertheless it never gave me a clean bbs over the neck area. And I refrain myself to overshave, which is a temptation with this model. I couple it with a BIC or a Feather blade to turn the shave more interesting.

Blade: Bic (Greece) - excellent sharpness yet not the smoothest ones.

Aftershave: Cutoline Alum-block (Portugal) + The Gentleman Floris Aftershave Balm (GB)

Eau the Parfum: Penhaligon's The World According to Arthur (GB) - this is an excellent fragrance from Penhaligon. Dense and complex. Better for the night or the winter... or when you want to impress.

Brush: 2BED
Lather: Stirling Deton-8
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (2)
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Post: Thayer's and Speick Active Splash

Pretty good shave today, although I nicked myself on the jawline well enough that alum was needed after the final rinse. 2.5 passes, but I think there was a little irritation at the end of the shave. Good enough for a 8.5/10 today but tomorrow will be better! Friday is just around the corner now...

Nice enough soap...lightly scented, creamy and slick but unfortunately the lather machine is down for maintenance...hence no ice cream 😕😅😆
Always enjoy using this razor for the heft and feel. 3passes for a sas result without any issues. My favorite Clubman aftershave smells great & the longest lasting! Rating 9/10
