Preshave oil- Osma Huile
Soap- Zartgefuhl Prinz Charming
Razor- Dovo Sunday Shaver
Osma Alum block
Aftershave- Senateur

Just purchased this razor, from Jarrod at The Superior Shave, it was Shave and ready to go.

The Shave:

THE PRESHAVE OIL was nice but honestly not exceptional
THE SOAP only makes a thin lather with some effort but boy was it slick and stays slippery giving plenty of time to shave without drying up. I like it! The thinness kept the razor from loading up with soap and the lubrication value is like nothing I've used.
THE RAZOR this thing was supposed to be Shave ready and boy was it. Coupled with the thin slippery soap I was able to take long single strokes on my cheeks and neck (I have a goatee so cant judge the tricky chin area) ATG shave was flawless!
The ALUM TEST the ALUM block test had absolutely now sting whatsoever
THE AFTERSHAVE Senateur is alcohol based but this shave produced virtually no stinging. The scent is similar to clubman but with a light liquorish/anise scent

The Result:
the best Shave experience I have had hands down. I'm new at this only been using the Straights for a few months but in this time I've purchased and/ or used 6 razors and like 20 different soaps. Going in I was thinking the soap wouldn't produce enough lather (Jarrod told me that it was thin so I was expecting that) I have found the soap for me. I was waiting to try out the razor and had a 4 day growth, the whiskers didn't stand a chance. Overall this literally blew my mind at at result BABY BUTT SMOOTH without a doubt. Really though this shaving experience was so good it felt as good or better than going to a barber and having them do it for me.

Oh yeah
The BRUSH- Rein Dachs Silberspitz silvertip badger its silkysmooth and after using for over a month I've never notice even any shedding

Aftershave: Razorock Acqua
Additional Care: Razorock Alumn / Nivea Original Balm
Rating: 8.5

This was another great shave. 3 pass and a little touch-up DFS++.
First time shaving with the Razorock Acqua soap and was actually quite impressed. Great lather, nice cushion and quite slick.
However, the blade was a different story. Even though it mowed down my facial hair, I could feel it tugging when shaving. I even have a bit of irritation in 2 spots on my lower neck. Probably due to the fact that the FUTUR has a lot of blade feel and the blade may be dulling a bit.
Anyways, this has been a good experience with the FUTUR. Next time it comes up on rotation I'll try a Nacet and see how it goes.

On the one hand: I can't build a decent lather for the life of me. Our water has 166 ppm solids, which is hard water. Is this why? I tried a new blade with the CG L2 to see if it was less harsh than Nacet, which work great in my Rockwell 6C. The Astra was good, but not as sharp as I'm used to. After I rinsed, my whole face stung. This was unusual. It was my first time using this soap. Could that be it? Or the Astra with this razor?

On the other hand: I got a very close shave with no weepers, nicks, or cuts. My face looks great! Hence the score of 9.
