Razor: Viking Chieftain TTO (1st shave with it) Prep: Liquid hand face soap Brush: Omega 11126 Blade: Viking Mild Soap: Van der Hagen A/S : Pinaud Clubman Rating: 10.0+ I can't believe the shave quality this razor and blade combination yielded. The heft of the razor makes WTG passes a breeze. XTG passes for the neck and under my jaw are nice. I heartily recommend this razor and blade combination to all, however the YMMV caveat applies.
GEMonday today, I haven't taken taken this one out of the rack for awhile and it performed nicely with a little help with prep and technique. Great shave!

3 pass WTG, XTG, ATG. DFS
First time using a Derby premium. I've read a lot of mixed reviews about this razor. I have around 55 of them so I decided to give them a try. The first pass was a little rough but the next two were smoother. 2 weepers and a little irritation on my lower neck which may have been a combination of the blade AND user error. Still not a bad shave. Need a few more shaves to decide whether I like them or not.
