What cologne disappointed you?

OH well... that's disappointing then. Sorry to hear.
Damn shame, cuz it’s a GREAT, basic lime scent, just goes away TOO quickly, IMO. 😩

I’m currently “auditioning” other “lime” scents for summer use.🏝

So far… eh. 😕

Got TOBS “Victorian Lime,” based on a reco from a fellow member.

Unfortunately, like T&H, fades too quickly for my taste. ☹️

Got samples of both “Captains” and “Henri…”

Those fade quickly as well, but least they’re AFFORDABLE aftershaves. 🧐

If you're looking for a lasting scent, with projection and silage, I'd look into traditional fragrance houses, rather than shaving supplies manufacturers.

Again, look not for aftershave or "cologne", but for a product with larger % of fragrance oils, namely an EDP. Usually an EDT will have a considerable strength and longevity, but for what I'm reading from your post above, you'd be best served by going specifically for an EDP.

Stirling's Sharp Dressed Man, and the aftershave, too. I used to love it; I'm on my second bottle. But something about the scent now is cloying and turns me off. The folks at Stirling, when emailed, say their formula hasn't changed, so possibly it's my nose.

Bogart One Man Show. From reviews I expected the powerhouse to end all powerhouses, but it was rather tame. Must be the modern formulation.
