My workhorse was my TGN UK Silvertip (Vulfix/Simpson) 24mm in a Rooney handle. I think it got usurped by a combination of a 1/2 Finest and a Chubby 1 Best towards the end of the year.

Savile Row 3124. 24mm knot 47mm loft. Soft, scrubby, lather machine. Might be trying my hand at a TGN knot on a cheap handle soon though.

I picked up many brushes this year, but one stood above all others, the Simpson 57 in Best. It has a perfectly balanced handle with just the right amount of heft, and the knot is plenty dense with soft tips.

Pretty much even distribution between B&B LE 2008, Kent BLK12 and Shavemac 227XXL. Through the year the B&B lost ground due to it's diminutive size. Bigger brushes are definitely my thing. it is now packed in my travel bag. Should be great for that.

Next year will see a Rudy Vey with a 30mm STA knot and the Semogue 2010 added in. I know the RV will stay. I'm betting the 2010 makes it as well.

Cheers,

Ken

Shavemac D01 2-band extreme flat top, though towards the end of this year the Rooney 1/2 Finest was getting more face time.

Tricky... I rotate brushes daily, but I suppose the Rooney 3/1 finest got the most time, since it was in rotation for most of the year and the other brushes now in rotation (1/1/F, SOC, 3/1/S) weren't.

Simpson's Colonel XL. A great all around brush, and for the money, one of the best bang for the buck performers around.

The workhorse when I use a straight razor is the Rooney Heritage 2-band super badger.

The workhorse when I use a double edge razor is the Omega 10005 boar.

I have others but those are the ones that get the most attention.
