What are your top 4 fragrances? Keep only 4?

Hello friend!

Oh my gosh, what is wrong with me? It’s the third, Eau de Guerlain I haven’t tried! Yes, I own Pour un Homme and love it. Just ignore my posts.
Thank you very much for your answer, my friend. It was my fault since I didn't count my choices. I recommend you try Eau de Guerlain whenever you can. I bet you will love it...

Tough one.
Andy Tauer L'Air du Desert Marocain: my favorite fragrance in general, can't be without it.
Parfums de Nicolai New York Intense: the perfect modern fougere, works in every situation.
Yves Saint Laurent Kouros: for when I feel nasty.
Essential Parfums Bois Imperial: a great airy woodsy fragrance. Last spot was tough, close contenders were classics like Bogart Signature or Puig Quorum, unfortunately IFRA gutted them too much to be in this list.

If only four I’m keeping:

1. Floris Santal
2. Tom Ford Extreme
3. Chanel Egoiste
4. Mugler Cologne (repackaged as “Come Together” but I still have the original plus back-up bottle.)

I have three Creeds (Aventus, Imperial, and Silver Mountain Water). All are very nice, but none of them make the cut. If we were talking 10 then maybe, but these are extreme times and we’re limited to four!

Last edited:
1) Terre d'Hermes Parfum (my favorite)
2) Prada Luna Rossa Carbon EDT (doesn't last long in hot weather)
3) Davidoff Cool Water Intense EDP (lasts quite long)
4) Calvin Klein CK One EDT (great for outdoor sweaty work, very cheap, doesn't last long, can topup sprays in the middle of the day)

I went on a shopping spree for fragrances early last year. Then stopped buying. Should have enough to last a few years.

Haha. I normally wouldn’t have noticed but I had to read it 2 or 3 times before I got it.

I currently have a decant of Aventus and had never smelled it before. I want to hate it like all the cool kids, but man is it really great. I really like Aventus cologne too. One of those might make it in my 4 before too long.
I hear ya...

I'm a Tauer fan too... I love L'air du desert Morocain but also own and love L'air des alpes suisses... super fresh and shares the same DNA as L'DM

Nice, another Tauer fan. I haven't smelled L'air Des Alpes Suisses yet but from what I heard and tested Tauer does use a very similar base DNA in all of his fragrances.
