Had a great day, especially rewarding professionally. Treated myself to Old Pulteney 21.

@Champion of Capua Never tried that Scotch before. Any single malt over 15 years automatically draws my attention as something with real potential.
Tonight, my peaceful, usual martini—Broker's gin, very, very dry with Dolin vermouth, two olives. Civilization. (for mild extra detail, shaken with ice 'cubes' in the form of Han Solo in carbonite). The Death Star sphere is reserved for special whiskies.

I expected more complexity form a 20 yo Scotch, but not bad considering my Costco is blowing’m out at $79 right now.
