Well, I did it.

I cut my tongue.

You might ask how. Well, I sometimes push my tongue against the back of where my upper and lower lips meet, to get that little corner elevated.

About that time, SWMBO, seeing my intense concentration, wandered in and yelled BOO !!! My tongue slipped out of my mouth right into the path of my new Muhle R41. A nice clean cut, but difficult as all heck to apply the styptic.
I looked kinda stupid, like I was licking a popsickle.

This should be good for a nice new Rooney, doncha think ? I'm gonna play this for all it's worth.

I've cut the side of my face (near my ear) a twice when the angle was off just a bit. Bled more than I thought it would!

The styptic pencil I have is the big fat one from Razorrock, and it tastes quite salty.

I had to laugh when I saw myself in the mirror, with my tongue sticking out, and that big fat thing stuck to the end of it.

+1 on this. Nearly did a Van Gogh on myself being a bit overly enthusiastic bringing the razor down on my first pass at the top of my cheek. Ears can bleed a lot.
