Weishi Pronounced

My Wife was laughing while I was watching a Weishi you tube.

What was so funny was the way folks pronounce Weishi.

It seems some say WEE SHE.

In fact it is pronounced in Chinese: WAY SHI, the shi is pronounced as if it had a "T" at the end, you know that bad word.
Just leave the "T" sound off.

Then she said, thats ok Joe, I can not say Awhominnum.

Tie = TAI
In other words, I agree with the first post.

I forgot, in other regions of asia. Tie = Tai = Tae = Thai.

Transliteration varies not only by language but by transliteration scheme as well. For some languages there are multiple ways to transliterate words.
