Wednesday doesn't like me

I bought a 7 day set a couple of weeks ago. Last Wednesday, I put a nice cut in my cheek with the tip. Wound is just about gone, so today, I have at it with old Wednesday, and unzipped my ear lobe. Nothing major, but hard to stop the bleeding.

I really don't think I've developed a Wednesday phobia yet, but it could happen.

Anyone else have a razor that has your number?

I think you should confuse the system, and shave with "Sunday" on Wednesday, and "Wednesday" on Sunday.

If you still have issues, maybe the "Wednesday" razor needs some tweaking.

I'm not saying I'm obsessive, but your suggestion to shave out of sequence sends shivers up and down my spine.

I really don't think it's the razor, but if it happens again, I will try your suggestion.

"normal?" How do you define "normal" exactly?

7 day sets are available...but pretty expensive if bought new. Check out Vintage Blades...they have a set on sale if memory serves...usually over $1500 or so...

Not everyone has them however...

Great questions.

Yes there are 7 razors. I don't know about normal, but it works for me. These were new TI razors and yes, they were expensive. The reasons I decided to get this set were (1) to be able to rotate use and keep a consistent feel, (2) not have to hone often, and (3) they are beautiful pieces. I am Dave and my quest is to try to figure out how fast I can swallow when unladen!

I have an issue with my Wednesday razor as well. I honed up my 7 day set on the weekend. Every razor went through the exact same honing series. So far they've all been excellent except Wednesday which is not sharp enough. I don't know why but it just didn't get a great edge.

It would appear that Wednesday is officially Demon Razor Day. As such, I feel justified in also declaring Wednesdays as Do Not Shave to Avoid Trauma Day.

Since my presence at the office requires a clean-shaven face, I must now stay home on Wednesdays. In the name of preventative medicine.
