Weber vs ATT M plate

Hello all, can any one with experience with both please tell me how they compare. I've been using my R1 for a while now and have decided i'd like something a bit milder. I enjoy the size and weight of my Titan handle, but guys just love Webers so much. I haven't looked at the prices in a while, but I seem to remember the M1 plate and a Weber being pretty close in price. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Looks like ATT single plates are $74, and a complete Weber Polished Head razor is $70. I haven't used ATT, but the Weber is a very good razor, somewhat more aggressive than an EJ89.

This thread is interesting for me. I've had a Weber polished head for a while now and I've recently purchased the ATT with the R plate and I think that I would like something between the two. Here in the UK a company called Executive Shaving has recently started selling ATT razors. I contacted them only yesterday and ordered an M plate and they said it would take a few weeks. The heads on the ATT razors are better quality than the Weber, but the Weber is still good!

I would love to see more information on ATTs. I am thinking about the upcoming OC from them.

The ATT's are great razors. They feel very sturdy in one's hand, and the quality is second to none. I really do like my Titan and will probably end up getting the M plate (probably OC), but you know how it is, you hear everybody talking about how great Webers are, and you feel like you're missing something.

I have used the ATT R1 and M1 plates, as well as the Weber. The Weber was milder than the M1 for me, on par with a Merkur 34C, most likely due to the lesser blade exposure on the Weber. I feel it is an excellent shaver if you like mild razors.

Most of the cost difference, I think, is wrapped up in the different manufacturing methods. ATT heads appear to be CNC machined, while the Weber heads are cast and externally polished. However I have no complaints about the Weber quality; I could not locate any visible casting or machining marks (excluding the matte/unpolished portions).

I use both regularly, and find the M plate ATT much milder than the Weber. Both good quality--I use the Weber handle on my ATT.

I have a Weber (polished) and have just bought an ATT Atlas M1 which should arrive tomorrow or Monday. I'll post a first impression once it's here and I've tested it.

My ATT M1 arrived today!

To me the ATT is a bit more aggressive than the Weber, which is what I was hoping for. It shaves close but never made me think it was going to bite, and I got no sting from the aftershave. I'm only one shave in but it seems good so far!
