Thank you BigJ - you`re not gonna believe this but I took the 1962 Philips battery shaver for a test drive and it worked great - got pretty close - it`ll do for the car and can take any type of AA / LR6 battery that are available Worldwide.LOVELY!! Excellent work!!
Plus it doesn`t need to go in the bin when the built-in lithium battery won`t hold it`s charge anymore - like a modern rechargeable shaver.
The Gillette above looks like a lightweight aluminium English Techy travel thing to me
; I don`t know - I don`t know anything about razors - hence me landing here !

Aw cheers mio_cuggino - I`ve got enough vintage travel grooming kits for a busload of pensioners now !
I`m 59 - but young at heart - so not quite there yet - but heh - age is just a number - I still smoke, drink and go clubbing !
