Thats very cool and quite a novelty, but I wouldn't pay $45 for it. Having said that I'm in no way a collector so others may disagree. I'm not sure how I would utilize the front storage space anyway. I'll stick with my stand and one of the Feather disposable blade banks.

Call me a party-pooper....but $45 for something to hold used blades? Pass.

If it also made waffles while I showered, I might reconsider.

Thanks guys. I figured he was going to say $10 and i would have grabbed it but when we said $45, I dropped it like a bag of hammers.

Funny this post came up as just today I was watching this to bid on and totally forgot. It mentions the bottom can be hooked open and emptied... I actually wish I had bid as it looked really cool.

i had a black piece on the bottom, that appears to be removeable, but at $45 i wasn't about to try it in front of him and break it.

cool yeah, but not $45 cool.

HA! You should have tried it, and when it broke you could say "Looks like it's only worth $10 now".

My father in law just gave me one of these today from India. The bank is made in England. How do you remove the bottom piece to empty the blades? Don't want to break it. This is so great - its the little things amiright?
