Vetiver Puig

Gentlemen,

My bottle of Vetiver Puig arrived yesterday and I must say I am pleased with my buy. The fragrance is quite refreshing, especially in the summer, with flower and citrus notes, and it lasts several hours. I am not sure whether I want it permanently in the rotation, but for now I will enjoy wearing it.

Recently I have tried Agua Lavanda by Puig and I liked that, too, even though the fragrance does not reach my top shelf of favorites. My world floats around Trumper and Truefitt & Hill Spanish Leather, Woods of Windsor, and similar fragrances. Thus far the long range of fragrances I have tried fail to reach the same heights -- for my taste, that is.

Probably my two favorite houses are those of Caron and Puig. So much bang for your dollar with those two! I also have Puig's Vetiver and Agua Lavanda and love them both! Lavanda I can wear anytime, especially when paired with a lav. shaving cream or soap. But, Puig's Vetiver is, I agree, a really good summer choice. Wore mine a fair amount this summer. Never got any comments though - but I myself smelled it and that's what's important.
