Vector SS New purchase but think I’ve got an issue

Just got this beautiful razor this morning. With the inkwell stand. Unfortunately the stand does not seem to fit. Is this the way it’s supposed to be. On the website and most of the pics I’ve seen so far the razor sits much deeper into the well. At the moment it feels a bit precarious.
I’ve emailed Shane. Just waiting on a reply. Just wondering if this is common place.

I'm sure Shane will take care of you. From reading about Blackland here, they sound like a great company.

My Vector sits securely in the inkwell stand.

Did you purchase new from Blackland Razors? If you contact Shane @Blackland Razors I'm sure he will take care of any issues.

It's so odd.... I've seen this problem mentioned a dozen times or so over the past 6 weeks (here and on FB groups).... and then... every time... more and more people say they have no issue. Shane has been very open about it... even went so far as to take the Proline 30's off their approved blade list. It sure seems to be a Schick manufacturing issue.

Based on several people's recommendations here (David included) I just ordered some Proline P-30s. So many people love them in their AC SE razors. I hope they are as good as advertised and I certainly hope Shane can help people who are struggling as much as is possible. He comes across as a very dedicated man who stands behind every product they manufacture.

We've already shipped a replacement stand to OP.

This issue is strange and has popped up on a few of our Vector stands recently. We've had all of our stands redone to resolve the problem completely.

Thanks Shane. Really appreciate that. love the Vector already. have shaved 3 times in the last 2 days. . Think I may have cured my RAD.
