VDH Deluxe - not glycerin based?

I was under the impression that VDH Deluxe was a glycerin based soap. However, nowhere is glycerin listed in the ingredients. Here are the ingredients:

Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Water, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Triethanolamine.

Googled propylene glycol, here is what I found...

Combination of glycerin and water it is a clear, colorless liquid that is among the most common moisture-carrying vehicles in skin care

VDH has Deluxe and Glycerin soaps. It is a melt and pour soap. Some manufacturers extract glycerin somehow and use it for other things. Look at the package and see if it says Deluxe or Glycerin. You may have to look on line or at a barber or beauty supply to find glycerin.

The only place I know has the glycerin VDH is Drugstore.com. Sometime they have the if its your first order free shipping deal. Their sister site Cosmetics.com ? has Musgo Cream and you can combine carts.

There's a lot of info on the web concerning propelene glycol being dangerous, most of it from folks promoting "all natural products". Here's some information on propylene glycol linked from the Center For Disease Control: http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/csem/egpg/propylene_glycol.html While toxic if directly injested or injected in high concentrations, the human body safely metabolizes low levels in the kidneys. Thought I'd mention that before posts start appearing about propylene glycol causing cancer. Propylene glycol has been safely used in medicines and cosmetics for years.
