I like to tinker, and its been fun using the simple kits, but I think it's time for a mechanical mod.

I am thinking about a glass tank RBA, and a mechanical mod /18350. I like the look of a short/fat unit.

Any suggestions on what to get and where to buy?

I just built my first RDA. a took a patriot clone atomizer (not glass), and built a dual coil .4 ohm with 26 gauge kanthol. I am using a 18650 battery but I also have an 18350 battery for my k100 telescopic if I want to go shorter.. When I use the k11 mech mod with the short battery, I use a Nautilus Apsire glass tank, or an innokin i clear S30.. They are all fun to tinker with. as for buying , there are so many online places. I like physically going to my local shops. Luckily, I have 4 shops within 10 miles of me, and they are all great.

For your mod... get a Nemesis clone (preferably HCigar). They're just the best clone on the market. Plus, you can use it in 18650 mode, 18500/18490 mode, and 18350 mode. Plus, you have the ability to throw in a Kick 1, Kick 2, or even a fuse if you so desire. The Nemesis clone is also one of the best in terms of voltage loss... a lot of other mods will lose voltage between the battery and your atomizer, but the Nemesis has limited voltage loss.

As for a tank? If you're looking into a rebuildable atomizer, then you're going to want a Kayfun. The issue with that is you aren't going to be getting glass. You can have a metal tank or a plastic tank. The only decent RBA with a pyrex tank that I can think of off the top of my head is the brand new Fogger v4, and that's sold out pretty much everywhere since it just came out.

Be careful with your coils - 18350's can't handle high amps like 18650 batteries can.

Yeah... you need to use an ohms calculator to make sure that your battery can handle whatever coil you throw on it.
