I'm a big fan, particularly of Tsar, but you have to be into the "old school". MiP is good but it's a "going out" type scent to my nose and I don't get let out much these days!

Midnight in Paris is amazing. I have the edp and it still doesn't last very long but man that scent is one of the best scents I've ever smelled and I have around 70 fragrance bottles so far, niche and designer. Def a fall/winter fragrance in my opinion. It's just I don't know what occasion to wear this on. I feel like I would like my Gf to wear this so I could smell it more often.

I'm surprised the MIP EdP doesn't last long on you. I purchased the MIP EdT and it projects for about 2 hours and is a skin scent for more than 5 hours. MIP was discontinued a few years ago but the EdT still sold by many discounters.

Where did you buy yours and how long ago? Check the batch code on the bottom of the bottle and see the production date at one of these sites:

I have not tried the PH. TSAR was a bit to much on the oak moss for me. At least I think that is the note I did not like. I agree the MiP is a little fem and sweet but I still love it. For the price I dont think it can be beat!

MIP is a fantastic scent for men! I think it's probably better on a formal occasion with a woman. I don't think any woman can not notice this one. My guess is has a pretty high WTOQ (Women Turn On Quotient) with 0 being none and 10 meaning there's metaphysical certitude that it's a total aphrodisiac!

I have and really enjoy MiP EdP --- I can only wear in winter/fall/very cool weather because our TX heat can make even one spray very cloying.

You must have bought your bottle awhile ago as the EdP is hardly carried anywhere since it was discontinued awhile ago.
The EdT is still available.

I got my bottle about 2 years ago. Both the EdT and EdP are wonderful but I preferred the creamier scent of the EdP. On my skin, both concentrations have beastly longevity.
