Vacation shots (only three)

I have been getting to know my camera better, and here is three photos from my just finished vacation that I think turned out pretty well.

What do you gents think?


Lifted the shadows a fraction and lowered the highlights a fraction

Increased contrast slightly, and increased the saturation of blue and yellow a bit

Retouched a windmill that distracted, increased sharpness, contrast and blue saturation slightly

I used my new Sony Alpha77V and for the shots above fitted with a Tamron 24-70mm lens.

With all the lenses I had acquired for my Minolta(s) over the years, I couldn't afford to change system.
The camera and I wasn't quite on the same page at the beginning, but now we cooperate quite nicely, and improving all the time
It has fewer dials than my old Minolta 7D, but more menus to operate, and it takes a little time getting used to.

Really like the last one. Could use a crop and lighten up a bit and it would really be great.

I really like the first shot with the kayaker in that big open space. This is trivial, but I might clone out the contrail. The third photo is neat as the layers really stand out... Sky, Clouds, Tree filling, Wheat!
