It's strong, I wouldn't say it is a tasting beer, or a beer for girls or people who do not enjoy beer? LOL
You can definietely taste the increase in alcohol, but it has flavor too, I get some charred caramel, some piney hop, it is really a nice beer for 11.2%

Is a glass like those recommended for drinking beer? Is there any differences from drinking straight from the bottle?

Haven't had this one, but I love the Oaked Arrogant Bastard. I wish Stone didn't cost so much here in St. Louis.
The Oak Aged is fantastic. Much better than the others IMPO.

This area just got one, to be honest, they are not bad, they beat most local grocery stores here.
It is the niche items that get you.
My ideal plan is local butcher or small butcher on site store for meat, whole foods for the niche, hard to find stuff, local products, and costco for my bulk living.
