I remembered to put my blades in the outbound checked luggage on my recent vacation trip, but forgot on the way back. And yes, they found them. A pack of Wilkinson Swords, gone in an instant.
Once, I was flying with my Merkur HD, but no blades. The TSA guy took my bag aside, stared at the HD for a long time...
the early 1930's type III Schick Repeating Razor (precursor to the injector) is great to hide blades in from TSA. Also- it is quite the compact travel razor. I did get stopped twice, but I just explained what it was and they let me go.

Why are you suggesting flaunting the rules and trying sneak blades on board?
Stop it!
+1 Not good. We should not encourage each other to attempt to break the law. In fact, if you will go back and read your B&B Terms of Usage http://www.badgerandblade.com/index.php?page=terms this is prohibited so let's be careful. This TSA issue has come up again, and again and again. Bottom line? Don't take DE blades or straight razors in your carry-on luggage and you'll be fine. If you're not checking luggage then tough it out with a cartridge razor.
