Toggle: B/S/T or eBay?

I'm interested in purchasing a toggle. I shave with all of my razors, so I am not interested in a case. I maintain a "working" collection.

Any recommendations on the best way to find one? Do they ever pop up on BST, or should I just poke around the Bay?

Any and all advice is appreciated.

They pop up here. Why don't you place a WTB ad here, and at the same time keep your eyes peeled here and on the bay? At least that's what I'd do. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. I was definitely leaning towards BST, especially after a recent poor experience on eBay.

+1. Post a WTB.

I got my first Toggle from a WTB, took 15 or so minutes I think. I also got my first Aristocrat 15 from a WTB. Took a few hours to get a minty cased 15 and only couple days to arrive at my door.

Never hurts to ask. As for price I'd expect user grade to good condition to vary from $125 (if shes really pretty rough looking)-$200 (good shape, most of plating there, paint in numbers there, red dot there etc) ballpark.

Well, it seems an unexpected eBay auction win may have just solved this problem. I will know for sure when it arrives in a few weeks.....

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely use BST for all future purchases. This was my final auction that I had an outstanding bid on. I'm planning to go on an eBay freeze for quite some time.

Just kidding. Please give as much honest feedback as you can. If I'm getting a lemon from a known lemon dealer, I definitely want to know.

Definitely some plating loss, but that's OK. I'm looking for a usable daily shaver to add to the rotation, not a cased display case item.

Who do you recommend for Gold Replating? Krona Kruiser is currently replating two razors for me in nickel.
