I picked up a puck of this at Colonial Drug in Harvard Square a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since-This was the first TOBS product I have tried and my expectations were high, and it did not disappoint.
The lather it produces is top quality and my shaves have been great with it. Price is in line with the quality of the product. My only minor disappointment was with the scent. I am a big fan of sandalwood and have used the Crabtree & Evelyn and Caswell Massey soaps before-while my experience was that the quality of the lather these soaps created was not in the same league as the TOBS, I liked the scent of these, especially the C&E, a lot more.
But ultimately the scent is OK and very subtle, and based on the quality of the lather and the great shaves I have been getting I will continue to include it in my rotation!
