Am getting low on both my TOBS almond and my GFT COCONUT (not almond yet). Plan to reorder the coconut for its wonderful aroma and magnificient shave. I do like the TOBS almond for its aroma and wonderful shave, as well, but am wondering if Trumper's almond would be just as good in aroma and shave as well as the coconut. Anyone with experience in these creams? Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks, John

I had a sample of Trumper almond that I liked, but I've not tried TOBS' version.
They're both good. TOBS is a sweet candy almond and GFT is a drier almond. I think Harris Almond smells the best though.

I like the GFT Almond scent better. It is closer to Conk Almond, which I love.

I have been impressed with Salter's scents so far (Sandalwood and Sublime Citrus), but overall I find Trumpers creams give better lather. Your experience?
I have had two Salter creams so far: Wild Rose and Almond. I smelled the Almond and then sold it in order to "thin the heard". I used the Wild Rose twice and then gave it to a friend. I found the Wild Rose lathered well, but I hate the smell of rose. I've tried a sample of both TOBS almond and GFT almond. I like both and did find GFT to lather better. However, I like Salter's smell better.
I guess it comes down to performance vs. smell. I prefer smell to performance and would put up with sub par lather for an out-of-this-world scent. That's just me, though.
Have you considered Cella? It gets rave reviews and contains tallow
